You the Member
First, I want to thank all the members who mentored me through my 30 years in
PDCA. I am here because of your efforts and guidance. Thank you.
As a member of PDCA, you wear many hats:
• First, as a contractor trying to make your business succeed;
• Second, as a Chapter member, trying to accomplish things you can’t do alone;
• Third, as a member of a Council and Chapter, working collectively to address
the problems in the state
• Finally, as a member of PDCA National, supporting an organization that
is dedicated to educating and protecting your rights, and hosts events that
bring us together for the betterment of the industry.
That being said, what do you need to do to get the most out of PDCA?
Associate. Participate. And, most importantly, share your knowledge with others. Be a mentor and a leader at
whatever level you choose to participate.
Thanks to Richard Greene and his dedicated staff, PDCA is once again a vital part in the growth of your business.
You can take pride in your national organization – it’s making changes with you, the member, in mind.
Your dues dollars go to support every level of PDCA. Get involved again and help PDCA take itself to the next
level.
I am going to ask a favor of you, the members: be proud of your association, learn what it has to offer, participate
at the local level, make your Council viable, and attend and participate in the education programs and leadership
training.
I am certain once you avail yourself to what PDCA can do, you will promote PDCA at all levels and become a
mentor, because you have a lot to offer your fellow contractors.
Thank you again to the members at every level who have been there for me and will be there for me in the future.
