Barrier-free <strong>Kirchentag</strong><br />
The <strong>Kirchentag</strong> makes every effort to make sure that it is accessible<br />
to all, including those with disabilities. Events with wheelchair access<br />
are marked with a symbol in the German programme, as well as<br />
those with limited access ( e.g. some stairs) or limited toilet facilities.<br />
There is a special “Zentrum <strong>Kirchentag</strong> Barrierefrei” located both<br />
at the Exhibition Grounds (in the former “Rinderhalle” – including<br />
a café) and also in the city centre (Postplatz, corner of Wallstrasse/<br />
Freiberger Strasse). International visitors with disabilities are asked<br />
to contact the International Visitor Service in advance to get more<br />
information and to ask for special help if needed.<br />

Bicycle<br />
Bicycle hire [Fahrradverleih]<br />
Over 1000 second-hand bicycles have been offered for the use of<br />
<strong>Kirchentag</strong> visitors who would like to cycle between the various<br />
<strong>Kirchentag</strong> locations. You don’t need to book in advance to use this<br />
service. You can pick up and return the bikes at any of the three<br />
stations. The bicycles have been checked for road safety by two<br />
Dresden charitable organisations.<br />
There is a deposit charge of: EUR 10 for 3 hours. If kept for a longer<br />
time, then this deposit is reckoned as the hire charge for that whole<br />
day.<br />

A daily cycle hire service is also available from the following:<br />
Bicycle pool<br />
At the Postplatz you can hire a bicycle for a whole day without<br />
needing to book in advance. The bicycles must then be returned only<br />
to the Postplatz.<br />
Opening hours: Wednesday: 13.00–20.00<br />
Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 10.00–20.00<br />
Return possible up to 22.00<br />
Hire charge: EUR 8 per day. Hire possible for up to four days<br />
(Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday)<br />
nextbike<br />
Nextbike is offering a round-the-clock cycle hire service with 30 hire<br />
stations for the hire and return of its bikes. Free advance registration<br />
