dB cycle hire: call a bike fix
The German Rail [Deutsche Bahn] are also offering cycle hire with no
advance booking.
Daily charge: EUR 8 per day
dB electric bike hire (Pedelec)
During the Kirchentag you can also hire “Pedelecs” (bicycles assisted
by a motor) from DB with no advance booking needed. Collection
and return is only available at the Central Railway Station and
each bike comes fully charged up with an environmentally-friendly
rechargeable battery.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 08.00–20.00
Return possible up to 22.00
“Kirchentag bicycle” for sale
The Kirchentag bicycle is a high-quality bicycle with a special
Kirchentag design and label available in a limited edition, which you
can purchase at a favourable price. It is produced by the Rabeneick
company from Oldenburg, who have been partners with the German
cyclists’ federation (ADFC) since 2009.

Cycle parking places
Around 2000 additional cycle parking places will be available during
the period of the Kirchentag. See the Kirchentag city map.
Camping sites
There are plenty of camping and caravan/campervan sites in and
around Dresden and you can find lists at p www.kirchentag.de/
camping – click on “Campingplatzliste (right side). Campers are
invited to come together for a special “Campertreffen” (Campers’
meeting) every morning for breakfast and prayers from 7.00am and
again at the end of the day for reflection and conversation (up to
23.00).
