drawing. The ticket will be validated at <strong>Lottery</strong> Central and any prize due will subsequentlybe paid by State of <strong>Illinois</strong> warrant. Amended 1/15/2012.10.6 In the event that a single Retail Official On-Line Game Ticket contains two (2) ormore winning game panels, the cumulative prize amount shall be claimed or redeemedin accordance with the above specified prize payment limits.10.7 In the event a player wins a prize in connection with a multi-draw ticket, the prizewon may be redeemed or claimed immediately or held for later redemption during theclaim period set forth in these rules. If the prize is claimed or redeemed immediately anddrawings remain on the ticket, an exchange ticket will be issued to the player. In theevent a player wins an EZmatch prize in connection with a Lucky Day <strong>Lotto</strong> ticket, theEZmatch prize won may be redeemed or claimed immediately or held for later redemptionduring the claim period set forth in these rules. If the EZmatch prize is claimed orredeemed immediately and Lucky Day <strong>Lotto</strong> drawings remain on the ticket, an exchangeticket for Lucky Day <strong>Lotto</strong> will be issued to the player.10.8 Validated prizes up to $600 won by a player as a result of the purchase of anInternet Ticket will be posted automatically to the internet player’s lottery account with noaction required by the Player. Prizes in excess of $600 will be submitted to theDepartment for Verification and the Department shall require the Player to complete aclaim form which must be sent to <strong>Lottery</strong> Central for processing. The Player mustcomplete the claim form within one (1) year after the date of the drawing or the prize willbe unclaimed. Validated prizes between $600.01 and $25,000 won by a Player as a resultof a purchase via the internet will be posted to the player’s internet lottery account afterthe Department completes its verification procedures, unless the player requests paymentby check. All prizes in excess of $25,000 will be paid by the State Comptroller. Addedeffective 3/25/2012 for the Internet Pilot Program.10.9 The payment of prizes to those persons who may die before receiving any or all ofa particular prize shall be paid in accordance with Section 13 of the <strong>Illinois</strong> <strong>Lottery</strong> Law(20 ILCS 1605/13) (relating to prizes payable after death of a prize winner).10.10 The <strong>Lottery</strong> shall be discharged of any and all liability after payment of prizes asprovided in Section 13 of the <strong>Illinois</strong> <strong>Lottery</strong> Law (relating to discharge of State liabilityupon payment).10.11 <strong>Illinois</strong> and federal withholding taxes shall be withheld by the <strong>Lottery</strong> for prizepayments in such amounts as may be required in accordance with applicable provisionsof the law.10.12. On-Line Game prizes shall not be paid to any of the following persons:1. Any member of the <strong>Lottery</strong> Control Board, officer, or person employed bythe Board or by the Department; employees of any TV station from which lotterydrawings originate who are directly involved in the production of drawingtelecasts, including floor director, camera operators, stage hands, character44
