The muds can help toremove pollutants and waste from the skin, they peel andfirm skin and prepare it perfectly to absorb other skincareproducts, e.g. warm oils.At Kurland there is a whole variety of muds with differenteffects, tailored to the individual parts of the body. Added to this, the warm wood and pleasant temperatures make a stayin this historical sauna unforgettable.The Brechelbath ® has a long historical background. Informer times the stalks from hemp and flax used tobe dried in the scutching room where they were thenbroken in a special device to get the fibres out of them.The fibres were then humidified several times and scented withherbs.The Brechelbath ® based on this old tradition is also a permanentfixture in sauna complexes. Guests sit on comfortable woodenbenches or individual high seats that are warmed from underneath.Fresh fir tree needles lying on the floor give you a gentlereflexology massage. There are different herbs in the Brechelbath® oven and the copper crown under the ceiling, which isfilled with fir cones and twigs. Today the breadbath is anunusual wellness facility with its wonderful fragrance.At pleasant temperatures between 30° to 45° Celsius,the unique fragrance of freshly baked bread andmild, dry heat are wonderfully relaxing. The centrepoint is a big bread baking oven spreading thepleasant scent of bread while guests can unwind incomfortable heated seats and profit from the health benefitsof the wonderful fragrance too. The released sour dough enzymeshave a special effect on the body. They stimulate themetabolism and help digestion.
