Petko “pdp” D. Petkov is a senior IT security consultant based inLondon, United Kingdom. His day-to-day work involves identifying vulnerabilities,building attack strategies and creating attack tools and penetrationtesting infrastructures. Petko is known in the underground circles aspdp or architect but his name is well known in the IT security industry forhis strong technical background and creative thinking. He has been workingfor some of the world’s top companies, providing consultancy on the latestsecurity vulnerabilities and attack technologies. His latest project, GNUCI-TIZEN (gnucitizen.org), is one of the leading web application securityresources on-line where part of his work is disclosed for the benefit of thepublic. Petko defines himself as a cool hunter in the security circles.Anton Rager is an independent security researcher focused on vulnerabilityexploitation, VPN security and wireless security. He is best known forhis WEPCrack tool, but has also authored other security tools includingXSS-Proxy,WEPWedgie, and IKECrack. He has presented at Shmoocon,Defcon,Toorcon, and other conferences, and was a contributing technicaleditor to the book Maximum Wireless Security.Craig A. Schiller (CISSP-ISSMP, ISSAP) is the Chief InformationSecurity Officer for Portland State University and President of HawkeyeSecurity Training, LLC. He is the primary author of the first GenerallyAccepted System Security Principles. He was a coauthor of several editionsof the Handbook of Information Security Management and a contributingauthor to Data Security Management. Craig was also a contributor toCombating Spyware in the Enterprise (Syngress, ISBN: 1597490644) andWinternals Defragmentation, Recovery, and Administration Field Guide (Syngress,ISBN: 1597490792). Craig was the Senior Security Engineer andCoarchitect of NASA’s Mission Operations AIS Security Engineering Team.Craig has cofounded two ISSA U.S. regional chapters: the Central PlainsChapter and the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter. He is a member of the PoliceReserve Specialists unit of the Hillsboro Police Department in Oregon. Heleads the unit’s Police-to-Business-High-Tech speakers’ initiative and assistswith Internet forensics.xii
