And as “ABBEnergiekabel”, we were a companyof ABB AG, one of the world’s toprankingsuppliers in the field ofelectrical energy and environmentalengineering.Since January 2004, we have beenmoving ahead under the new/oldcompany name of “Südkabel”.–But we are also returning to ourtraditional lines of business. Theseinclude stranded conductors foroverhead transmission lines, whichare being manufactured by oursister company “KEMPER DrahtundWalzwerk” in Duisburg, forwhom we handle the sales operation.KEMPER goes back to the year1919, when Friedrich Kemper setup a copper and wire factory inDuisburg.
