It is immediatelyadjacent to the Peabody Little RockHotel, the Center’s catering andconcession partner.The Statehouse Convention Centeroffers over 250,000 gross squarefeet. The four Governor’s ExhibitionHalls have more than 82,000square feet and can be divided bymovable air walls. The Center alsooffers 11 versatile meeting roomsand an 18,000-square-foot ballroomthat can be subdivided into threeseparate rooms. Most pre-functionspace for the ballroom has attractiveviews of the Arkansas River throughthe liberal use of a glass atrium. TheCenter can accommodate a varietyof events, including, but not limitedto, major conventions, exhibits,trade shows, consumer shows,banquets, receptions and corporatemeetings.Robinson CenterHistoric Robinson Center, constructedin 1939, houses the Sen.Joseph T. Robinson auditorium,which is commonly known as theRobinson Center Music Hall. Theflexibility of this facility is evident,as it is home to the ArkansasSymphony Orchestra, numerousBroadway road shows, concerts,dance competitions, ballets, playsand dance recitals. Large meetingscan make exceptional use ofits 2,609-seat capacity, creating anintimate atmosphere.The Robinson Center has 14,867square feet of exhibition space ontwo levels. It has seven versatilemeeting rooms that are ideal forvarious convention activities, fromworkshops and meals to trade showsand dances. The DoubleTree Hotel,which is attached to the Center, isits catering and concession partner.ParkingA 550-space public parking deckat Second and Main streets isone block from the StatehouseConvention Center. RobinsonCenter includes a 560-spaceunderground municipal parkinggarage at Markham and SpringStreets, which provides guests withwell-lighted, weather-protectedparking connected to the Center.In addition, there are several hundredmore parking spaces availablewithin a few blocks, including a667-space deck in the River MarketDistrict. lLittle Rock offers the perfect mix for a conventiongroup — hotels that provide some of the bestfacilities and service in the Sun Belt, plus a city rich inhistory, culture, fine dining and fun-filled evenings.Statehouse PlazaStatehouse Plaza, an eight-squareblockarea on the Arkansas Riverfrom Scott Street to Broadway indowntown Little Rock, includes theStatehouse Convention Center, theRobinson Center, the Peabody LittleRock Hotel and the DoubleTreeHotel.
