(Ag.)Hons. Degree, ii)Consistently good academic record with a doctorate degree in the relevant subject orallied discipline or equivalent published works of an equally high standard in the relevantsubject/discipline ; iii) Ten years’ exp. of teaching and/or research and/or extensioneducation in the relevant field of specialisation of which at least 5 years must be in therank of Reader or equivalent position in identical pay scale ; iv) Distinguished record ofresearch of high standard as evidenced by research publications in the relevant area.DQ : i) Preference will be given to candidate(s) having experience of successfullyguiding research at the doctoral level ; ii) Adequate experience to provide leadership inthe subject or discipline preferably in Agril. 2Qualifications for Reader (Res.)E.Q. a) A 1 st or high 2 nd Class Master’s Degree in the relevant subject or in any branchof Horticulture with specialisation in the relevant subject/discipline (for i to iii) or A 1 st orhigh 2 nd Class Master’s Degree in the relevant subject(v & vi) or equivalent degree of aforeign University (4 semester duration) following a good B.Sc.(Hort)Hons. (4 yearduration course) or /B.Sc. (Ag.)Hons. with Horticulture as an elective subject (Sl. i to iii)or good B.Sc. (Ag).Hons. Degree (Sl. iv-v) ; b) Consistently good academic record witha doctorate degree in the relevant subject (i to v) or equivalent published works of anequally high standard in the relevant subject/discipline; c) At least 5 years’ exp. ofteaching and/or research and/or extension education in the rank of Lecturer or equivalentposition in an institute of repute (experience in a post for which Masters’ Degree isminimum qualification).DQ – Evidence of being actively engaged in research or extension of innovation inteaching method or production of teaching materials.Note : 1) The essential requirement of having consistently good academic record andBachelor’s Degree basic to Master’s Degree and maximum age limit may be relaxed bythe Screening Committee in case of candidates serving as Lecturer in this University.Note : 2) Candidates applied for the post under category iii) above need not apply afresh.They may, however send their enhanced bio-data, if any, within the date.Qualifications for Lecturer (Research)EQ: a) A 1 st or high 2 nd Class Master’s Degree in the relevant subject or Master’s Degreein Agril.
