The quoted prices shall be inclusive ofall taxes, VAT, duties, freight, transportation and insurance, if any and installation and demonstration,wherever applicable.The quotation should reach the office of the undersigned within 26 th November, 2013 during theoffice hours. For any clarification, you may discuss with the undersigned between 2.00 P.M. to 4.00 P.M. onall working days of this Viswavidyalaya.The Quotation reference No. and subject must be mentioned on the top of the envelop.ANNEXURE – IIGeneral Terms and Conditions1. The specification covers the design, manufacture / assembly, testing, supply at site, demonstrationof performance at site and AMC of the equipment as mentioned in the Tender Enquiry and whichever are applicable.2. All items of equipment shall be complete in all respects and any items / accessories not covered inthis specification but essential for proper functioning of the equipment shall be included in thequotation.3. All equipment / accessories shall be designed, assembled, tested and maintained according to therelevant and recognized standards.4. Workmanship and materials shall be of good quality, suitable for the purpose intended and inaccordance with the highest standards and practice of the equipment of the class covered by thespecification.5. The equipment shall be guaranteed for workmanship, materials and satisfactory performance.6. The suppliers must replace free of charge any part or parts which owing to failure in any time withinthe warrantee period.

7. The bidder shall include and provide for securing protecting and packing the equipment so as toprotect the contents from damage during transit. The bidder shall be solely responsible for loss,damage or deterioration on account of improper packing or insufficient measures.8. The successful bidder shall complete the delivery of all equipment complete with all accessories, ifany at purchase store (at site) within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of issuance of the order.9. The quotation of the bidder shall remain valid for a period of one (1) month from the date ofopening of the tender.10. The prices shall be inclusive of all i.e., ex-work Excise duty (if any), Sales Tax, packing and forwardingcharges, VAT, freight, transit-insurance, if any.11. The prices shall remain fixed, firm and binding and shall not be subject to variation on any account,whatsoever.12. The purchaser means “Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya” (BCKV).13. The purchaser reserves also the right either to accept or reject any tender wholly or in part withoutassigning any reason whatsoever.14. 100% payment will be made through cheque after satisfactorily installation and commissioning,demonstration of the equipment at site (BCKV, Mohanpur) only as per the requirement of thetender enquiry.15. No advance payment will be made by the University.16. Any kind of deviation from the requirement of the tender enquiry shall have to be clearly furnishedalong with the quotation. Otherwise it will be presumed that there is no deviation in the quotationfrom the tender enquiry.18. Valid Tax and duties clearance certificates must be produced wherever applicable.S.
