Toaccess your email, click on the EmailInbox link in the My Email channel onyour OASIS Welcome tab. Your emailaccount is for your own personaluse, and is often used by tutors andlecturers to contact students, or foryour Faculty to send informationthat may be of interest to you. Whenemailing the <strong>University</strong>, it is stronglyrecommended that you use yourstudent email account, as some areasof the <strong>University</strong> will not communicatewith a non-<strong>Curtin</strong> email address forprivacy and security reasons.English Language Supportsee UniEnglishNew StudentsEnrolmentsAll students will be contacted by theirlocal <strong>Curtin</strong> provider and provided withthe enrolment deadline. Students MUSTattend enrolment sessions conductedby the local <strong>Curtin</strong> provider and you willbe required to bring the following;• Letter of Offer• Enrolment form• Passport-size photograph for your<strong>Curtin</strong> Student ID Card• Proof of payment of tuition feesRe-Enrolling StudentsIf you have completed a study period(eg semester, trimester) and arecontinuing in the same course, you areconsidered to be a re-enrolling student.Before the start of each term, yourlocal <strong>Curtin</strong> provider will advise you ofthe enrolment deadline. Students areresponsible for their own enrolment.Check all forms and notices carefullyand observe all deadlines. If you missthe enrolment deadline there may be aAUD$75 penalty for late re-enrolmentpayable to <strong>Curtin</strong> via your local <strong>Curtin</strong>provider.Re-enrolment can be done via OASISOfficial Communication Channel (OCC)(where available). If online re-enrolmentor class registration is not availableat your local <strong>Curtin</strong> provider you willbe advised of the procedure to followfor a manual re-enrolment and classregistration. For manual re-enrolmentstudents are to provide:• <strong>Curtin</strong> Student ID Card• Enrolment form• Proof of payment of tuition feesStudents may only study units in whichthey are officially enrolled.Page 13 Page 14
