Back to StartE-FGStudent Access to ExaminationScriptsA student has right of access to all theirexamination scripts in the presence ofa local academic staff member uponformal written request to the relevantSchool. The request must be lodged withyour local <strong>Curtin</strong> Provider within ten(10) days of the official publication offinal results.Extension StudiesExtension units are offered as individualunits within a non-award program anddo not normally lead to a recognisedqualification. This is also known asa “Not for Degree” (NFD) enrolment.Extension studies do not guaranteea future place in a university awardcourse and acceptance of an ExtensionStudy Registration is dependent onapproval by the School conducting theunit. Units can be taken internally andexternally depending on availability. Amaximum of 50 credits may be enrolledin simultaneously and cumulatively.Students enrolled in a NFD programshould pay their tuition fees on the daythey are enrolled. Failure to do so maylead to enrolment cancellation.An individual enrolled in extensionunits will have no right to continuestudy beyond the period for whichinitial enrolment is approved. Howeverperformance in units previously takenon a NFD basis may be considered inassessing an application for admissionto a course leading to an award. Students must reviewtheir Award Certificate and confirmtheir name and address details viaOASIS.Ceremonies are usually held annually inSingapore and Hong Kong in October/November and in Sarawak in April/May.Ceremonies are also held at the SydneyCampus in April/ May. Other local<strong>Curtin</strong> providers may host their ownceremonies. You also have the optionof attending graduation ceremonies inPerth.Alternatively, students can request fortheir Award Certificate to be mailed.Students with sanctions relating tounpaid fees or fines cannot attend agraduation ceremony or receive theirAward Certificate until the sanction iscleared.
