The new weekly prize structure is asfollows:Top prize £2,000,Second Prize £200+ (rollover)Third Prize £100plus 40 £5 prizes. How the new rollover works:Each week our Hospice Lottery computer, sited in Barrow in Furnessand controlled by Sterling Management Ltd, will select five randomnumbers (as opposed to a player’s number). If any current paid-upplayer matches the numbers that week, he or she will win the prize. Ifno-one has the numbers, then the prize will roll over to the followingweek, and so on.This will continue until the prize pot reaches an unclaimed maximumof £5,000. (Experience of this system predicts it will normally bewon between £4,000 and £5,000.) The following week the computerwill randomly select a winner from that week’s entries, thereforeguaranteeing that the £5,000 will be won by one of our HospiceLottery players in the same way as all the other weekly prizes arewon. Once won, the whole process starts again from £200.In addition to the introduction of the Rollover, we have adjusted theweekly prizes so that each week we have a prize fund of £2,500.Thanks to your support the Hospice Lottery generates nearly £1,000a day to provide the specialist care and support our hospice offers, and pays for one day in four of the Hospice nursing care.
