Worldwide there arepeople who need hospice andpalliative care who cannotaccess it. The estimatednumber of all people dyingneeding the care annually isjust over 33 million.‘Sharing the Care’ highlightsthe role of individuals suchas community members,family members and healthprofessionals as well asdifferent organisations suchas governments, funders,health care centres andhospices. Running a hospiceis a real team effort. It isonly through partnershipsthat we will achieve access toquality care for all those whoneed it.
