After lunch we all gathered back in the largechapel for the afternoon talk. Martin Granger(Chair of Trustees) thanked all who work atthe CCHC and all who volunteer, includingthe Visiting Chaplains who faithfully stand inplace of the Chaplains while they’re away. Theteam then shared their vision for the Centregoing forward. Plans for the future includemore teaching days, podcasts of the HealingServices and an on-line E-learning course onthe Healing Ministry. We also hope to put upsome prayer rooms, which will be availablefor folk who can just ‘call in’ for prayer withoutprior appointment, and there are also plansfor more outreach. Former Warden, GeorgeBennett’s vision was to ‘go out and share Jesus’healing’ and our Vision Statement indicates that‘we are here and beyond’, so the team feel thatthere is a real sense of moving out and reestablishingoutreach.Just before afternoon tea and lovelyhomemade cakes, we all gathered at theThanksgiving Cairn, where two new stoneswere laid by the Chaplains - ‘Repent 2015’and ‘Go out’. Steve G then led us in a time ofprayer, after which folk laid their own stones ofthanksgiving.A wonderful day; great weather, greatcompany and much to look forward to overthe coming year and beyond!19
