2.11 Italian police / Polizia<br />
The two main branches of the police are:<br />
2.11.1 Guardie di Pubblica Sicurezza<br />
(or the Polizia) who also operate road patrols such as the<br />
Polizia Stradale. Their headquarters is the central Questura,<br />
responsible for maintaining order in the Province of Florence.<br />

The Questura is given the authority by the Ministero degli<br />
