Water filter for third
world schools
An estimated 3.75 million people die as a result of
waterborne diseases every year. Children are particularly
at risk; one child dies every twenty seconds from a waterrelated
disease. This product aims to change that statistic.
This product filters contaminated water to produce
clean, safe drinking water to be used within the school
environment located in third world countries. The product
produces clean drinking water by removing viruses and
bacteria using a gravity-fed membrane filter.
