The new OptraDam Plus allows a
comple te ly dry operating field to be
established even more easily. Consequently,
the individual restorative treatment steps
can be conducted in a more reliable and
controlled fashion. Moreover, the dam’s
unique, three-dimensional shape provides
an excellent view of the oral cavity and
facilitates access to the working field.
Exceptional operator convenience
and high patient comfort
Because of the new, more elastic plastic rings,
OptraDam Plus is now even easier to insert
in the patient’s mouth. The rings also make
the rubber dam very comfortable to wear for
the patient. At the same time, OptraDam Plus
ensures complete retraction and protection of
the patient’s oral soft tissues.

Simplified complete isolation
Due to the high elastic resilience of the new
latex material, the septa can be passed more
easily through the proximal contacts. This
simplifies placement of the rubber dam. In
addition, tearing along the margins of the
punched holes is markedly reduced.
Optimum adaptation and gingival seal
Patented, 3-dimensional flexible shape
The new, optimized position of the preprinted
arch template creates apical tension.
As a result, the dam is automatically adapted
to the sulcus. Isolation in the gingival region
is thus improved.
One or two wedges can be used to separate the teeth, which simplifies passing of the rubber dam through the proximal
contact. If the distal wedge is used as a retention element, no rubber dam clamp is required.
