The new brand strapline for Fiat Professional hints at
some of the success the brand is currently enjoying in
this ever so competitive market place. A shift in the
make-up of some of the UK’s largest and well respected
fleets now reflects the Fiat Professional badge
amongst the more established brands.
With a product range that encompasses small city van
product like Fiorino right up to high volume/High payload
derivatives of the Ducato, Fiat Professional feel
they have a product to suit almost every breakpoint in
the market. At the front of this charge is the Guest
Group of which Sherwood Truck and Van are a key
part. As part of the continued push forward Sherwood
Truck and Van have relocated to more suitable premises
on Rennie Hogg road in Nottingham. The facility
which provides 24 hr. servicing for both Fiat Professional
and Iveco truck and van products provides a
more commercially focused site and is well positioned
to provide the highest levels of sales support. Justin

experience….but also key to this is Fiat Professional’s
working under a ‘car’ mentality and operate during
‘car’ hours”.
The new facility at Rennie Hogg lane is certainly testament
to this statement give n there isn’t a car
product onsite and the facility carries only commercial
vehicle parts and servicing specialists. It also provides
a ‘round the clock’ 24 hour aftercare provision
from early Monday all the way through to Saturday
lunchtime. It is worthy of note that the arrival of such
a strong ‘commercially focused’ dealer network goes
hand in hand somewhat with the success Fiat now
enjoy within the corporate and fleet sectors of the
market Major corporate key fleets such as SSE, BT
Fleet, Network Rail and the Post Office now all operate
significant numbers of the brands products, but
more importantly they have done for some time
now and are actively replacing many vehicles again
with Fiat badged product. Justin continues, “Fiats
decision to re-align its dealer network has enabled
our customers to have the re-assurance they need
that they will be taken care of during the sales process
and afterwards during the aftercare cycle which
is equally if not more important.” Providing a range
of new and nearly new LCV’s and the facility of 48hr
test drives of many of the key model ranges means
Sherwood Truck and Van can provide a bespoke introduction
to both the Fiat Professional brand and
its services. There is no doubting the enthusiasm and
conviction the operation has and its ambition seems
to be very much aligned with the new strapline.
