As senior project draftsmanI I worked in a team of<br />
engineers and draftsmen on this impressive steel<br />
structure: a monopile gripper frame. It’s a fully<br />
hydraulic tool used by Van Oord to install wind turbine<br />
foundations at sea. I have been responsible for the<br />
communication with all the involved parties ranging<br />
from the hydraulic cylinder suplier to the manufacturer<br />
and the client.<br />
Besides managing the drafting of the project I designed<br />
improved details and created the fabrication drawings<br />
for most parts of this monopile gripper frame using<br />
Autodesk Inventor.<br />
