During my time at Mei architecten and stedenbouwers<br />
I developed a vision and strategy for the restoration<br />
of het Slaakhuys. This is a top-100 national listed<br />
monument designed by J.M. Vegter and P.A. Leupen.<br />
Orginally it was designed for the editorial department<br />
and to house the printing press of the newspaper<br />
‘Het Vrije Volk’. The first phases of the restoration for<br />
both the interior and exterior of Het Slaakhuys are<br />
completed. It is the aim of the client to re-develop this<br />
unique building for the use of offices, a restaurant in<br />
the lobby and retail program in the former printing<br />
