vision on re-use of existing warehouses<br />
The ‘Fenixloodsen’ (warehouses) were built in 1898 at Katendrecht in Rotterdam.<br />
These historic warehouses are located opposite of Hotel New York and the<br />
Rijnhavenbrug.<br />
My team and I developed a winning design for the re-use of the Fenixloodsen<br />
which respects the existing warehouses, answers to the requirements of the<br />
client and makes a bold statement which is worthy of the city of Rotterdam.<br />
