Camp construction
Defying the rain, scouts
had been finishing their
camp construction. In the
evening Ochopintre
appeared for the first
time!
Despite the continuous rain
showers passing over the
campsite, 38 scouts
scrawled out of their tents:
the first morning in the
camp! Still, there was a lot
to be done and so the
scouts started working
with much energy, because
rumours spread that
Ochopintre was watching
from far – out in the wood
– what was happening on
the campsite.
Injuries – mysterious
coincidence
Goderzi hurt his thumb
working at the camp
construction and he was
seen with a white bandage
for the rest of the day.
Mysteriously, Ochopintre
had a very similar
bandage…
Unfortunately the weather
was quite unfriendly all
morning, it continued to
rain and even if in the
afternoon it stopped, cool
air and big clouds made the
situation uncomfortable.
Too much energy
This first morning in the
camp the scouts were
allowed to sleep until
noon. Nevertheless this gift
was not enough
appreciated and the energy
of the children forced them
to run around the tents at
nine o’ clock.
But despite these harsh
weather conditions, the
scouts did not loose neither
hope nor energy. They
continued to construct
toilets – with a wonderful
view over Rioni river and
Shadow disappeared
Today a long story of
waiting for more light
ended happily: Levani’s
camera objective had a
darkening lens on which
couldn’t be taken away by
anybody except Benschi;
we thank him for
brightening the photos.
