The ICSI Working Group on Lockout-Tagout wishes to share their industrial experience, especially on testing and maintenance<br />

phases. This booklet is a collection of issues and related good practice from various industries such as chemical, rail,<br />

water, gas, nuclear, pharmaceutical and oil. The areas covered include lockout-tagout in the following domains: electric,<br />

mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and static equipment, and roadways.<br />

About the authors<br />

The authors participate to the Lockout-Tagout ICSI Working Group. This group is composed of various industrial<br />

companies and subcontractors, researchers and staff representative bodies.<br />

Dounia Tazi, from ICSI’s expertise team, has coordinated the work of this Working Group. She is a safety<br />

specialist in subcontracting settings and maintenance issues in process industries.<br />
