Dear Candidate,
We congratulate you on being selected for admission in Ph.D. in RGIPT, Raebareli.
Regarding commencement of the academic session the schedule is as follows:
Registration and hostel allotment: 3 rd August 2012
Please deposit the First Semester Fee latest by 3 rd August 2012, by a crossed demand draft in
favor of ‘Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology’ payable at Rae Bareli. (Please
write your Name on the back side of demand draft)
General/OBC/PD = Rs.65,000/- (Rupees sixty five thousand only)
SC/ST = Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only)
Registration process
For registration of admission, you are requested to report to Raebareli on 3 rd August 2012 at 9.30
A.M. at the address given below where the hostel facilities for the students have been arranged
(No candidate to report before this date). Hostel room allocation will be done after the
registration process is over.

For completing the registration process, students have to bring along with them the following
documents in original and one self attested copy of each;
• Admit card and GATE/NET score card.
• Class 10th and 12 th , B.Tech/B.Sc, M.Tech./M.Sc. certificates and mark sheets.
• Copies of the first, second, third and fourth year’s mark sheets & graduation degree.
• Work experience certificate (If any)
• Valid caste certificates as per the central list for OBC/SC/ST category.
• In respect of OBC category, attach a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate and a self declaration (To
be signed by candidate) form.

• Valid certificates for physically handicapped category.
• Four stamp size latest color photo fixed on the application form.
Please note that no other person or parents or relatives are required to be present for the
registration process. Also note that RGIPT reserves the right to withdraw admission at any stage
in case a candidate fails to produce the above mentioned documents/certificated or if it is found
at any time that any information provided by you is incorrect, your admission is liable to be
canceled at any time of you stay in the RGIPT.
Expenses: Students have to bear all expenses for their journey to Raebareli and during stay in
hostel for their personal care, beverages, medicines etc. RGIPT will only arrange caterer for
serving daily standard meals and breakfast to the students.
