66CV SWITCHED SOCKET<br />

OUTLETS<br />

Major features of the 66CV Series<br />

are its robust PVC back box and<br />

polyester cover that provide excellent<br />

chemical and high impact resistance as<br />

well as UV stability, in a neat, compact<br />

unit that's quick and easy to install.<br />

An internal interlock is fitted to the<br />

outlet to prevent insertion or withdrawal<br />

of the plug (provided the plug is fitted<br />

with an interlock facility) while the switch<br />

is in the 'ON' position.<br />

66CV Series Combination Switched<br />

Socket Outlets also incorporate a<br />

padlock facility in the 'OFF' position for<br />

66CV563<br />

added safety and security.<br />

Hole diameter 7.8mm.<br />

Options available<br />

• Neon Kit (66N415) for field fit. Red,<br />

415V, flying leads for customer<br />

connection to indicate either ‘power<br />

on’ or ‘switch off’. Requires a 12mm<br />

diameter hole.<br />

• Keylock Kit (66KEY) for field fit.<br />

Uses a locking system compatible<br />

with the 56 Series.<br />

Normally locks in the ‘OFF’ position<br />

but can be converted to lock in the<br />

‘ON’ position. Department of Labour<br />

approval is recommended before<br />

making this modification.<br />

STRAIGHT PLUGS<br />

The 66P Series is constructed of<br />

fully moulded, transparent polycarbonate.<br />

This makes for easy installation and<br />

instant visual checking of connections.<br />

All models are also insulated for<br />

operator safety.<br />

Designed for heavy industrial areas,<br />

all 66P models are impact resistant,<br />

insulated and contain corrosion proof<br />

metal components and UV stabilised<br />

mouldings.<br />

For convenience and safety the plug<br />

can be used with gloved hands and has<br />

a mechanical interlock facility to prevent<br />

withdrawal of the socket outlet while the<br />

power is still on.<br />
