Attendance
In the academic year 2009-10 attendance was 94.2% with 4.8% authorised absence and 1%
unauthorised.
There is not a legal entitlement to family holidays and the school’s policy is not to authorize
any holidays in term time. The Headteacher will consider on an individual basis any requests
for time off due to extenuating circumstances. A request should be submitted in writing and
you will be informed of the Headteacher’s decision by letter. Holidays taken without the
school’s agreement are unauthorized absences for which the parent is liable.
