Ellis, Tillmans Corner. Ms. Ellis was the partner of the guy who actually owned 470 FTT. As his name is not<br />
known to me, I record ownership after the ‘unknown car dealer, Mobile’, as shown above; during this time, I<br />
believe 470 FTT was kept on a lot off Broad St. in downtown Mobile, not at Tillmans Corner. After his untimely<br />
death, it was Ms. Ellis who arranged sale of 470 FTT to Beach Boy Trolley, Pensacola, FL, in July 2001.<br />
Marren, Mobile. Tom Marren was to operate a Big Bus franchise in Mobile (it was going to be the first Big Bus<br />
franchise operation in the USA). Unfortunately it never got off the ground and the two buses were disposed of<br />
as shown.<br />
WAVH Radio, Mobile. This radio station has seen two changes of ownership in recent years. DJX 351D, their<br />
Daimler Fleetline, has had transmission problems in recent years - in September 2003 it was at a garage<br />
awaiting attention, and I understand it has been to a couple of transmission specialists subsequently. However<br />
it has now disappeared completely; even the current staff at the radio station do not know where it is.<br />
<strong>The</strong>y asked us to report its location if we came across it; unfortunately we did not find it.<br />
Zeke’s Landing Restaurant, Orange Beach. EGM 289C appears out of use now (3/07) having been towed in at<br />
some stage, and now abandoned in a corner of the parking area here.<br />
