Rina built her career as an IT specialist,<br />
but found an MBA with CQUniversity as<br />
a gateway to broaden her horizons. Upon<br />
completing her MBA, she was head-hunted<br />
by a listed IT firm to be Vice-President of<br />
Sales. This was where she met her mentor<br />
with whom she later co-founded Mercatus<br />
Capital, a company that services businesses in Venture and Angel<br />
Funding, Securing Grants, Public and Private Equity, Mergers and<br />
Acquisitions, Corporate Restructurings, Financial Advisory, Initial<br />
Public Offerings and Strategic Partnerships.<br />

Thailand<br />
DOCTOR OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES<br />
Dr <strong>The</strong>erarat Samrejvanich completed her<br />
doctoral degree in 2010. She was elected<br />
to Thai parliament in 2011 as the Pheu Thai<br />
member for Lat Krabang district, Bangkok,<br />
under the leadership of Thailand’s first female<br />
Prime Minister, Yingluck Shinawatra.<br />
Dr Samrejvanich’s remarkable achievement is testimony to the value<br />
that the University’s doctorate programs offer.
