Step 1 <strong>–</strong> COMPLETE THE<br />

APPLICATION FORM<br />

Complete the application form. Before<br />

signing the application form, ensure<br />

that you have read and unders<strong>to</strong>od the<br />

Conditions of Enrolment and Refund<br />

Policy.<br />

Step 2 <strong>–</strong> ATTACH ALL<br />

RELEVANT DOCUMENTS<br />

Attach copies of the following relevant<br />

documents:<br />

• certified* copies of awarded<br />

certificates, transcripts, testamurs<br />

and/or senior schooling results<br />

• certified* copies of proof of English<br />

Proficiency<br />

• subject outlines (in English) for<br />

advanced standing<br />

All certified copies that are in<br />

languages other than English must be<br />

accompanied by certified, translated<br />

(English) copies where an approved<br />

transla<strong>to</strong>r has conducted the translation.<br />

*The certification stamp must include<br />

the certifier’s printed name, title or<br />

position, signature and date of notary.<br />

The certification stamp and signature<br />

may be obtained from a Justice of<br />

Peace, Commissioner of Declarations,<br />

a selected registered agent of Central<br />

Queensland University or the issuing<br />

authority or institution. Offshore<br />

documents must be certified by an<br />

equivalent <strong>to</strong> a Notary Public. Please do<br />

not send originals with your application<br />

unless you are submitting an application<br />

in person at the campus.<br />

Step 3 <strong>–</strong> CHECK YOUR<br />

COMPLETED APPLICATION<br />

Do a final check that all fields have been<br />

entered and relevant documents have<br />

been attached by using the checklist<br />

on the application form. Forward<br />

your completed application form and<br />

relevant documents <strong>to</strong> the campus<br />

where you wish <strong>to</strong> study.<br />

Contact and address details are listed on<br />

the application form.<br />

Step 4 <strong>–</strong> APPLICATION<br />

PROCESSING<br />

Processing of your application will take<br />

approximately two <strong>to</strong> four weeks.<br />

Step 5 <strong>–</strong> RECEIVING YOUR<br />

OFFER OF ADMISSION<br />

Successful applicants will be sent an<br />

Offer of Admission and an International<br />

Student Contract either directly or via<br />

their nominated agent. A conditional<br />

Offer of Admission is made <strong>to</strong> those<br />

applicants who are still required <strong>to</strong> send<br />

additional information, such as final<br />

results of English proficiency exams.<br />

Step 6 <strong>–</strong> ACCEPTING YOUR<br />

OFFER OF ADMISSION<br />

To accept your offer, you need <strong>to</strong>:<br />

• return your signed International<br />

Student Contract <strong>to</strong> the campus listed<br />

on your Offer of Admission; and<br />

• pay a minimum of one term’s tuition<br />

fees and Overseas Student Health<br />

Cover (OSHC).<br />

Step 7 <strong>–</strong> APPLYING FOR YOUR<br />

STUDENT VISA<br />

You require a Confirmation of<br />

Enrolment (eCoE) <strong>to</strong> apply for your<br />

student visa. You request this from<br />

the campus when (or after) payment<br />

of fees and Overseas Student Health<br />

Cover. To assist with the issuing of your<br />

eCoE, please ensure that the following<br />

information is included with your<br />

Remittance Advice Form.<br />

• passport Number (To be written on<br />

your International Student Contract);<br />

• the visa office you would like the<br />

eCoE issued <strong>to</strong>; and<br />

• where and how you would like the<br />

eCoE sent <strong>to</strong>.<br />

Step 8 <strong>–</strong> ADVISE CAMPUS OF<br />

YOUR ARRIVAL DETAILS<br />

Once you have received your student<br />

visa, you will need <strong>to</strong> book your flights<br />

and advise the campus of your arrival<br />

details. You need <strong>to</strong> arrive at your<br />

campus at least one week prior <strong>to</strong> the<br />

commencement of your study <strong>to</strong> attend<br />

orientation sessions.<br />
