Knowing God

he Fatima Family Apostolate International
is sponsoring the visit to SS. Peter and Paul
Church of the miraculous International
Pilgrim Virgin of Fatima on June 8, 2011, Wednesday
from 8:00AM to 9PM. A Latin Tridentine High
Mass is scheduled at 6:30PM. There will be a rosary
every hour by different parish groups and
weather permitting, a farewell candlelight procession
at 8:30PM. Let us please Our Mother and
Queen by giving her a warm welcome and participating
in the events of the day.

HIGH MASS (UPDATE)
The Latin Tridentine High Mass will remain on the Third
Sunday of every month @ 9:30 am. The next Tridentine High
Mass will be on Sunday, June 19 @ 9:30 am and on every third
Sunday thereafter.
P.S. This means that the 6:30 am Mass every third Sunday continues
to be Latin Novus Ordo.
FATHER’S DAY NOVENA
Father’s Day is right around the corner. SS. Peter & Paul Parish is
pleased to make available a beautiful selection of cards that allow you
to include your father, grandfather, godfather, etc. in our special
Novena of Masses that begins Sunday, June 19 th and concludes on
Tuesday, June 28 th . You may obtain Father’s Day Novena Cards for
a donation of any size. Cards are available at the Rectory Office

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION FOR
CHILDREN AND PRETEENS
For First Communion for children ages 7 - 13. This program is
for the children of Catholic families that:
Live within the boundaries of the parish.
Are registered at SS. Peter and Paul Church for more than 4
months and attend Mass on Sundays.
Are able to attend parent classes and/or retreats.
Are able to attend Holy Hour once a month.
Keep in mind that the parents of the child should be the ones
registered not the aunt, uncle, grandma, etc.
SUPPORT VOCATION TO
ST. MICHAEL’S ABBEY
Ryan Rodriguez, a young man who is scheduled to enter St.
Michael’s Abbey (home of our beloved Norbertine priests), is
turning to you—our parish family here at Sts. Peter and Paulfor
your financial and spiritual support! After leaving his doctoral
studies in Philosophy at Purdue University this past May
in order to pursue the Lord’s call to the religious life and Priesthood,
Ryan is scheduled to enter the Abbey as a postulant on
August 27th of this year…but only if he is able to pay off a
substantial amount in college loans beforehand. We will be
hosting Ryan for a ‘Parish Appeal Weekend’ here at Sts. Peter
and Paul, on the weekend of July 9th-10th. Ryan will be present
at each Mass to sing and make a verbal appeal. He will then be
at a table outside of the church to meet with our community,
receive your tax-deductible donations, and sell copies of his
recently-recorded music album “Here I Am”, which will be
available for $20. You can learn more about Ryan and his vocation
story, as well as purchase CD’s and make donations, on his

CLASES DE CATECISMO
PARA NIÑOS
Clases de Primera Comunión para Niños y Niñas de 7 a 13 años
de edad. Este es un programa especial para niños y niñas de
familias católicas que:
Viven dentro de los límites de la parroquia.
Están registradas en la parroquia de San Pedro y San Pablo
por más de 4 meses y vienen a Misa todos los domingos.
Están disponibles para tomar clases para papás y/o asistir a
retiros.
Están disponibles a venir una Hora al mes a la Capilla de
Adoración.
Recuerde que los papás de los niños/niñas son los que deben
estar registrados, no la tía, el tío, la abuela, etc.

Ryan Rodríguez, es un joven programado a entrar a la Abadía de
San Miguel (hogar de nuestros queridos sacerdotes Norbertinos),

Pablo su apoyo espiritual y financiero! - Al dejar sus estudios
doctorales en Filosofía en la Universidad de Purdue este pasado
Mayo por seguir el llamado del Señor a la vida religiosa y al Sacerdocio,

año en la Abadía…pero sólo si es capaz de pagar una cantidad
substancial de préstamos de la Universidad. Nosotros vamos a
tener a Ryan para que haga una ‘Petición de Recursos de fin de
Semana’ aquí en San Pedro y San Pablo, el fin de semana del 9 y
10 de Julio. Ryan estará presente en cada Misa cantando y hacienda
una petición verbal. Después él estará con una mesa afuera de
la Iglesia para conocer a nuestra comunidad, su donación es deducible
de impuestos y estará vendiendo copias de su reciente CD
musical titulado “Here I Am”, el cual estará disponible por tan

NOVENA DE EL DÍA DE LOS PADRES
La parroquia se complace en tener disponibles una selección de
tarjetas para que usted pueda incluir a su papá, abuelo, padrino,
etc. en nuestras misas de la novena que empieza el domingo 20

Lunes 1 de Agosto a las 7:00 PM
Acudan las parejas a la hora citada. Allí les explicaran los requisitos
del curso y todo el proceso para casarse por la Iglesia
Católica. No Necesitan casarse antes por lo civil, solo sigan el
trámite por la Iglesia y así se ahorrarán bastante tiempo y dinero.
