SELECTING A PRESSURE-<br />
SENSITIVE LAMINATE?<br />
As has been stated numerous times before, it is important<br />
to test products sufficiently in any application. The more<br />
circumstances and conditions you account for in testing,<br />
the more likely you are to select the correct pressure-sensitive<br />
laminate. Do not hesitate to talk to your supplier, they<br />
can help you ask the right questions and can recommend<br />
products designed for your specific application. Attaining<br />
the needed performance, price and aesthetics is critical,<br />
so communication is key to working with your customer<br />
and your PSA supplier to find the best product to meet you<br />
and your customer’s wants and needs.<br />

Ohnmeiss has served Mactac Specialty<br />
Products for more than 15 years,<br />
serving in a wide range of research<br />
and development, product design, quality management and<br />
technical customer support roles. Ohnmeiss is responsible for<br />
managing the implementation, management and improvement<br />
of technical quality service systems and procedures for<br />
Mactac, and oversees the claim and technical service support<br />
groups. He is an expert in quality management systems,<br />
ISO9000 certifications, pressure-sensitive product design,<br />
technical service and troubleshooting.<br />
Prior to joining Mactac, Ohnmeiss served as a biochemical<br />
researcher at the University of Buffalo. He is a graduate of New<br />
York State University at Fredonia where he received a bachelor<br />
of science degree in biology.
