Art Department 2015 Art Exhibition On 24 June the school held its annual exhibition of GCSE and A level work, which this year included exciting new photography and graphics work by students who benefitted from the Photoview Rise Up education programme. Pupils and students worked extremely hard to produce a wide variety of creative work including new media such as film, photography and photoshop as well as traditional media such as casting and painting used in imaginative new ways. One student commented that studying art had made him think far more deeply about issues such as media coverage and identity. Performing Arts Department Proms Evening Our first Proms Evening on Thursday 9 July was a great success. The pupils performed amazingly well and acted professionally during the whole performance which is a testament to their patience and hard work. I would like to thank everyone who came to watch the show, the support was very much appreciated.
