Jacquelyn Shannonhouse was recently named president of the Oklahoma City Chapter of the American Marketing Association. Carly Wegener is getting married on November 17, 2012 in Oklahoma City to Scott Tribbey. They look forward to becoming a family with Carly’s son Hayden. Steven Johnson and his wife Erin welcomed their first child, Claire Marie into the world on May 5, 2012. Steven is the Business Development Manager at Cobb Engineering Company in Oklahoma City. The Johnson’s reside in Edmond, OK. 1999 Amanda Holt LeNaire, former BMCHS teacher, is the new owner and trainer at The Pilates Body on Western Avenue in Oklahoma City. Micah Gamino is in his third year of PhD coursework in the Rhetoric & Professional Writing program at Oklahoma State University. He is also an instructor of technical writing in the OSU English Department. 2000 Margaret Mendus graduated from Drexel University this summer with a Bachelor of Architecture. She has won the Henry Adams Award, given by the American Institute of Architects to the top ranking graduating student in each accredited Architecture program in the nation. She is also graduating Magna Cum Laude. She has been married to Mohamed Grar for 10 years. She works in New York City for Godwin Residential Construction as a construction project manager. 2001 Gregory Chansolme married Elizabeth Schonwald in November, 2011 at a ceremony in New Orleans, LA. Greg graduated from the University of Oklahoma and obtained a degree from the OU School of Law and an MBA from the Price School of Business at the University of Oklahoma. The couple live in Oklahoma City where Greg is an associate at Andrews Davis Law Firm. 2002 Hunter Hoehn graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelors degree in English. He has worked as a Petroleum Landman for G. H. Land Company in Oklahoma City since 2008. He married Elizabeth Jordan on April 28, 2012, in Tulsa. hunterhoehn@gmail.com Christopher Cunningham Funk, and Lindsey Kay Mosteller were married May 19, 2012 at First United Methodist Church in Muskogee, OK. Chris received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Oklahoma State University. He is employed with Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores in the Risk Management Department in Oklahoma City. Nicole Powell married Chris Wright in June, 2012. Brittany Riesenberg received her masters in Catholic Education Leadership from the University of Notre Dame last June. 2003 Meredith Eischeid married James Smith, III in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico in August, 2011. The couple reside in Hot Springs, AR. Helen Elizabeth (Betsy) Colton (Hoehn) is co-owner of KS Design in Oklahoma City, OK. Her store specializes in fine home bedding and décor. Betsy married Graham Colton on June 5, 2010. betsyhhn@gmail.com 2004 Caroline Hovde Schoppa is married to Lane Schoppa. Both are graduates of Oklahoma State University. The couple reside in Oklahoma City with their young daughter Alaina May Schoppa. Joshua Southerland graduated in May 2012 from the University of Oklahoma with a Master’s Degree in Engineering - Computer Science. Josh was married two weeks later to Joelle Harbour. He is employed as a researcher with the University of Oklahoma focusing on robotics and machine learning. He also works for the KISS Institute for Practical Robotics (KIPR), which is a not-for-profit educational organization that uses hands on robotics programs and events such as Botball to communicate the excitement, knowledge and practical understanding of science, technology, engineering and math to young students. 2005 Robert E. Epps III (Trei) graduated in May with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa. On April 30, 2012, Samuel Carter put on his stripes to be promoted to Staff Sgt. in the US Air Force. Recently, Sam was stationed at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX after serving in Germany and Afghanistan. His wife Diane and 3 1/2 year old son James are in San Antonio, TX with Sam. Stephen Jason has been promoted to 1st Lieutenant with the 214th field artillery fire brigade stationed at Ft. Sill. Kiley Ellegard graduated in 2008 from the University of West Florida with a BA in Psychology, minor in substance abuse. In May 2012 she got her MA in counseling psychology. The license she is working for is Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) She works for Infant Parent Intervention Center. 2006 Caroline Head recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia and began working for Revolution Partners, a marketing and strategy consulting firm. caroline.head@gmail.com Andrew Loving was recently honored by the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. Andrew was awarded a silver medal for achieving the highest score in Oklahoma for all four examination sections of the CPA exam, in windows III and IV of the 2011 test. Andrew received his masters in accounting from Oklahoma State University in December 2011, and works at Grant Thornton in Tulsa. Jonathan Kraft graduated from OU in May, 2011 with a degree in Finance & Energy Management He is currently an entrepreneur & business owner of Wild Boar Energy Services. He is an alumni Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. 2007 Mack McLain graduated from Colorado School of Mines this May with a Geological Engineering Degree. He also finished his college sports eligibility at Mines and has become the most decorated athlete in the history of the school with 12 All-American honors and 3 National Championships. In 2012 he was runner up in the mile indoor National Championship and 3’rd in the 1500m in outdoor track. He has been accepted to graduate school at Mines in the Geological Engineering Program and plans to get his Masters degree and continue running with The American Distance Project, an elite running and training program in Colorado Springs. He was ranked 37th in the country in the 1500m last year and will have to get in the top 30 this year to qualify for the Olympic Trials which will probably require a 3:40 or better time to qualify. Bradley Southerland graduated in May 2012 from Oklahoma State University – Oklahoma City with a degree in Graphic Design. 2008 Sheila Kraft is a Political Science & Economics dual major senior at OU. Recent accomplishments include intern to Gov. Mary Fallin in summer 2011 and this summer, intern to Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Tulsa, OK. Sheila carries a 3.8 GPA and was named to the Presidents Honor Roll in 2010, 2011, & Spring 2012. Sheila is a member of Alpha Chi Sorority and expects to graduate in Dec. 2012. Chelsea Epps graduated from Oklahoma City University in May, 2012 with a degree in German. 2010 Cara Pugh just completed her 2nd year at OCU where the Stars garnished a 62-5 record that includes two conference championships and a run to the semi-finals her freshman year and a National Championship with a 35-1 record her Sophomore year. She has declared Education as her major. 2011 C.C. Guzman’s school team The College of St. Rose recently won the NCAA Div. II women’s soccer Championship. Ethan Berney has transferred from Colorado School of Mines to Oklahoma City University. He will continue to play soccer and is studying pre-med. ethanberney@yahoo.com Frank Frantz is working at Philmont Scout Camp this summer, spending 2 1/2 months in the mountains of Northeast New Mexico. He’s been certified to teach search and rescue skills to Philmont trekkers. Also, in the unfortunate event a Philmont participant gets lost, he may be deployed on the search as a member of Philmont’s Search and Rescue Team. Tom Frantz was chosen by members of his OU fraternity, Sigma Chi, to be a member of its four-person Rush Team this summer.
