• Informal Consultations held in the past 6 months with several statutory<br />

- Discussions on their Scoping Opinions<br />
- EIA survey methodologies & scope of works circulated to relevant<br />
stakeholders<br />
- Key communication pathways established<br />
• Formal Consultations to likely start February 2011 – after grid contract is<br />
indicatively signed 28 th January <strong>and</strong> Section 46 notification to IPC is made<br />
- Preliminary Environmental Information document being drafted<br />
(summarised Scoping Report including timetable of EIA surveys<br />
upcoming/undertaken <strong>and</strong> results if any)<br />
- Draft EIA Chapters to be sent out as soon as surveys <strong>and</strong> analysis<br />
completed.
S47 Consultation - Local Authorities<br />
• Individual meetings held in November 2010 to<br />
discuss their Scoping Opinions <strong>and</strong> introduce the<br />
Statement of Community Consultation process<br />
• Collective meeting scheduled on February 17 th<br />
- To agree on the SoCC contents, methodologies <strong>and</strong><br />
consultation tools;<br />
- to discuss collaboration with DONG <strong>and</strong> amongst<br />
themselves<br />
- Framework agreements to support local authorities<br />
as a group (e.g. Planning Performance Agreements)<br />
• SoCC likely to be published end March 2011
