Call for LATE BREAKING ABSTRACTS
Present your latest research findings at the leading European meeting for IR

With more than 6,100 participants in 2011, the CIRSE annual meeting has become
Europe’s largest and most comprehensive forum for experts in image-guided
minimally invasive therapies.
Choose the best possible platform to present your most exciting and cutting-edge
research findings by submitting a late-Breaking Abstract for CIRSE 2012.
We are looking for original abstracts of new experiments and clinical trials containing
important late-breaking results, which were not yet ready at the regular abstract
submission deadline.
All abstracts must be submitted through the online CIRSE Abstract Submission System
at www.cirse.org from May 4 to 14, 2012 (midnight Central European Time).
CRITERIA FOR LATE-BREAKING ABSTRACTS
• The authors certify that the data was not complete and could not have been submitted
at the time of the regular abstract deadline in February 2012.
• The abstract contains work that is original and has not previously been submitted to,
or presented at, any other scientific meeting. Nor is it already under consideration
for a scientific meeting, including CIRSE 2012.
• The work is novel, evidence-based and of scientific merit.
• Part of the abstract should argue its eligibility for this competitive category.
All abstracts will go through a blinded peer-review and will be judged on the above
criteria. Only a very limited number of abstracts, i.e. the top six scored, will be accepted
for oral presentation at a dedicated Free Paper Session at CIRSE 2012.
Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent by the end of May 2012.
