COMMERCIAL FAST-MOUNT SPEAKERS We recognize that time
is money especially when installing loudspeakers in a large commercial
project. The FM1 uses the patented FastMount ® mounting system that
allows the speaker to be installed from the finished side of the room
without requiring any tools, greatly reducing the time required to install
the speaker. The FM1 is a unique, low profile, extended bandwidth,
wide-dispersion planar loudspeaker with an integrated backbox,
disgned for use in commercial and residential installations.

FASTMOUNT SPEAKERS Sonance FastMount ® series speaker
establish a new benchmark for performance, weather-resistance and
safe, easy installation in commercial/professional outdoor speakers. The
exclusive patent-pending FastMount bracket allows these loudspeakers
to quickly snap and lock securely into place. Once installed, the time
required to precisely align an array of speakers is greatly reduced by
an indexed positioning system that ensures consistent position and
alignment. All FastMount models feature a durable, paintable, weatherresistant
polypropylene enclosure and paintable perforated aluminum
grille, and are available in black and white.

SPECIAL FEATURES Patented Planar Diaphragm Technology allow
an FM1 that has been properly installed in a ceiling boundary to radiate
sound in a 140° hemispherical pattern with smooth, even coverage.
This dispersion characteristic allows FM1 speakers to be spaced farther
apart than narrow-dispersion conventional speakers, reducing the total
quantity of loudspeakers and minimizing the visual impact in almost
any installation. To further reduce the visual impact, the FM1's flat
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) loudspeaker surface may be finished with
water soluble material such as latex paints to match almost any decor
or color requirement using conventional brush-on, roller or airless spray
application systems.
SPECIAL FEATURES FastMount loudspeakers can be mounted as close
as one inch to the mounting surface in a vertical or horizontal position,
on a pole or across a corner. Once in place, FastMount loudspeakers
can pivot 180 degrees and can be rotated by a regulated indexed
position system that ensures consistent placement from one speaker to
another for uniform appearance and accurate soundfield reproduction.
FastMount also features a new Protected-Access Connection Terminal
(PACT) that protects wire connectors from weather corrosion while
making installation easier. The ability to connect the wiring in the front of
the speaker speeds installation and protects the installer by eliminating
the need for risky acrobatics on ladders.
