The different shop fronts of
Meals on Wheels services in
Boggabri, Narrabri and Grafton!

I have been working with NSW Meals on Wheels
Association for nearly two months now and I feel
very lucky to be working with such a professional
organisation and staff.
I have had the privilege of meeting some very dedicated
and committed Staff , Volunteers, Coordinators/
Managers and Committee Members across the New
England, Mid North Coast and Northern Rivers areas.
I have visited services in Boggabri, Narrabri, Guyra,
Tamworth and Grafton and have also attended
workshops or forums at The Entrance, Barraba and
Grafton. All services have provided me with a very warm
welcome which has been wonderful. I hope to meet more
of you over the next few months and to visit the places
where you work to provide such a valuable service in your
communities.
The difference in the way each service operates is quite
amazing and I have been inspired by the creativity
and resourcefulness of each service. There is so much
potential for growth at the moment and I am excited
to be working with NSW Meals on Wheels Association
during this time. Meals on Wheels are such an important
service to so many millions of people- not just because of
the nutritious meal that is provided, but for the care and
dedication afforded to each individual.
I look forward to meeting more of you in the coming
months.
