CHORAL SEASON 2016 / 2017 Since 1988 we have been trying to bring you the very best of choral music traditions, novelties and opportunities. Our efforts have been an ongoing investment to foster unity, inspire change and bring a new viewpoint on the choral world. The 2016 and 2017 choral years will be packed with everything that delights your mind and soul. Starting off with the brand new ON STAGE series, 2016 will lay ahead opportunities for new top destinations, genre experimentation and some fun away from the competition schedule. Top world attractions like Paris, Prag, Barcelona and the like will shed a whole new light on the idea of choral singing. No categories, no jury, no competitive air – this time we sing for the people, for the joy of singing, the joy of life.

Schumacher and Jochen Stankewitz.<br />

The INTERKULTUR Choral Academy in<br />

collaboration with Edition Peters offers<br />

to individual singers and smaller<br />

choirs the opportunity to work with<br />

the three conductors in a four day<br />

workshop with a closing concert in<br />

Leipzig.<br />

PEDAGOGICAL OFFERS<br />

Jürgen Faßbender, Jan Schumacher<br />

and Jochen Stankewitz are among<br />

the most prominent choral conductors<br />

in Germany. Participants of<br />

“Reine Männersache Leipzig <strong>2016</strong>”<br />

will have an insight in “new and old”<br />

German male choir repertoire.<br />
