• Colts S-Corey Lynch played the 2008 season with the Bengals.
• Bengals Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach Jeff Friday
worked in Baltimore (1999-2007) with FitzGerald (2004-07) and
safeties coach Roy Anderson (2005-09).

• Colts NT-Josh Chapman played the 2008 season at Alabama
with Bengals T-Andre Smith.

were teammates at Alabama from 2009-2011. During that
three-year span, Chapman, Richardson and Kirkpatrick helped the
Crimson Tide win two BCS National Championships (2009 & 2011).
• Colts T-Jeff Linkenbach and DT-Ricardo Mathews played at the
University of Cincinnati from 2005 (redshirt) to 2009. During that
span, fellow Bearcats included Bengals P-Kevin Huber (2005-08)
and Bengals LB-J.K. Schaeffer (2008-09).
• Colts S-LaRon Landry was teammates with Bengals T-Andrew
Whitworth at LSU from 2003-05. The two helped the Tigers win a
National Championship in 2003.
• Colts CB-Cassius Vaughn spent the 2006 and 2007 seasons at
Mississippi with Bengals RB-BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
• Colts S-Sergio Brown spent the 2009 season at Notre Dame with
Bengals C-Trevor Robinson and TE-Tyler Eifert.
• Colts TE-Coby Fleener and QB-Andrew Luck were teammates
at Stanford with Bengals WR-Ryan Whalen from 2009-2010. Colts
offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton served as wide receivers
coach at Stanford during the 2010 season.
• Colts FB-Stanley Havili, C/G-Khaled Holmes and DE-Fili Moala
spent time at USC with Bengals MLB-Rey Maualuga. Moala and
Maualuga played together in 2005 and were joined by Havili in
2006. That trio went on to play together for the 2007 and 2008 seasons
as well.

• Colts G/C-Mike McGlynn spent the 2009 season in Philadelphia
with Bengals TE-Alex Smith.
• Colts S-Corey Lynch played for the Buccaneers with Bengals QB-
Josh Johnson from 2009-2011 and K-Mike Nugent in 2009.
• Colts CB-Jalil Brown (2011) and OLB-Andy Studebaker played
with Bengals DE-Wallace Gilberry in Kansas City.
• Colts C-Samson Satele and OLB-Erik Walden were teammates
with Bengals S-Chris Crocker in Miami during the 2008 season.
• Colts WR-Darrius Heyward-Bey played the 2012 season with
Bengals DT-Christo Bilukidi for the Raiders.
• Colts RB-Chris Rainey (2012) and TE-Weslye Saunders (2011)
played with Bengals LB-James Harrison in Pittsburgh.
• Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano was the secondary coach in
Cleveland when Crocker played for the Browns for the 2003 and
2004 seasons.
• Colts Special Teams Coordinator Tom McMahon was on the staff
in Atlanta from 2007-08 when Bengals LB-Michael Boley played
for the Falcons.
• Studebaker (2010-12) and Jalil Brown (2011-12) spent time with
the Chiefs while Bengals Assistant Defensive Backs Coach Adam
Zimmer was on the staff in Kansas City.
COACHING CONNECTIONS
• Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano, linebackers coach Jeff
FitzGerald and safeties coach Roy Anderson all spent time coaching
with Bengals defensive backs coach Mark Carrier in Baltimore
from 2006-09.
• Colts offensive assistant Tim Berbenich coached with Bengals
offensive coordinator Jay Gruden in Tampa Bay from 2006-08.
• Colts defensive coordinator Greg Manusky and offensive coordinator
Pep Hamilton worked with Bengals special assistant to head
coach/running backs coach Hue Jackson in Washington in 2001.
On that staff, Manusky coached the linebackers and Hamilton
served as a summer coaching intern.
• Colts special teams coordinator Tom McMahon worked with
Jackson in Atlanta in 2007. Bengals defensive coordinator Mike
Zimmer also coached on that Atlanta staff.
• Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano and safeties coach Roy Anderson
