Larger balance. Is this good? How do we decide fees? Hosting company to do preliminary work
to come up with a proposed fee.
Leave "nest egg" in company?
Fee $330 to remain for now proposed by Douglas Gilroy and accepted by attendees.
IV Hosting Company
Hosting company: Get started as early as possible to book facilities.
Costs for hosting company: In constitution: Presently, the Host company is responsible for any
overruns. The Host company signs contracts to reserve facilities, etc., and assumes financial
liabilities.
Laslo: Costs for his company was less than $1000 for the 2008 UGM
Ernest: Historically, liabilities were less than $1000.
Provide services: See Constitution
Term: Unlimited liabilities scares potential hosting companies.
Can we amend the constitution and specify "softer" terms and define the limit of the liabilities?

Montreal was officially approved by vote as the location for 2010.

Need EIN number to use US charity bank account. How to deal with international treasurers.
The EIN number assigned by the IRS is 26-4090862 and our legal name is CDEGS Users
Group, as per Ernest Middleton, Secretary-Treasurer 2009 UGM.
