DCA will be hosting a series of Grade Level Coffees and Preview Nights throughout
January for parents of students in grades 6‐12. Part of DCAʹs mission is to partner with
parents to the fullest extent in order to best help our students develop in every possible
area of their educational experience. Each of these informal meetings is designed to be
informative about various aspects of our program here at DCA as well as the broader
educational process for middle and secondary school students. Please check
dcawildcats.org for a complete list of times and join us as we partner together to
challenge your son or daughter to become all God intends for them to be. A 9th Grade
Preview Night will be held for current 8 th grade parents on Tuesday, January 29 at 6:30
p.m. An elementary coffee will be held in the cafeteria for all K5, 1 st and 2 nd grade parents
on Wednesday, January 30 from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
As a part of their unit on classification, seventh
grade science students used a dichotomous key
to identify a collection of plastic frogs last week.
They also designed and tested a dichotomous key
that could be used to identify a collection of
plastic lizards.
DCA’s Middle School bowling league begins on
practice, there is no limit to how much your child can improve. If your child is interested
in participating, please contact Mr. David Turner at dturner@dcawildcats.org.
On Friday, February 8, the PTO will be hosting a Parker Uniform Closet Sale.
team with a tough match up against FRA on Monday followed by
a tough battle Friday against Ezell-Harding that went back and
forth the whole game. The Wildcats were victorious with Tyler
Thompson leading all scorers. Not to be outdone on Saturday, the
Winterfest activities started the day but the real action came
