SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR FILLING UP OF SC/ST/OBC BACKLOG
VACANCIES
Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) is providing Statutory Services to the
exporters under STP/EHTP scheme and also extending infrastructural facilities
including High Speed Internet and IPLC links. STPI, at present, has 51 centres at
different locations in the country.
STPI Bangalore has its sub centers at Mysore, Mangalore, Manipal & Hubli and the
incumbents are liable to posting anywhere in these centers/ anywhere in India.
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the S &T post given below to
be filled by Direct Recruitment on contract basis for a period of three years which is
likely to be regularized/ extended/ terminated depending upon the performance of
the candidate during contract service. Those working in Govt./PSUs/Autonomous
Bodies, who apply through proper channel and get selected, could be considered for
appointment on immediate transfer (absorption) basis :

Candidates meeting the above eligibility criteria may send their duly filled
application in the prescribed proforma alongwith attested copies of certificates
relating to qualifications, date of birth, experience certificates, caste certificate etc., to

last date of receipt of applications. Applications received after the due date will be
rejected.
Employees working in Central/ State Government/PSUs/Autonomous
organizations should forward their application through proper channel, who will
send the same with Vigilance Clearance.

General Information for the candidates applying in respect of
Employment Notice # STPIB/01/2011
1. Number of posts may vary.
2. The relaxations and concessions shall be governed as per Govt. of India
rules.
3. The appointment shall be on contract basis for a period of three years
which is likely to be regularized/extended/terminated depending upon
performance during the contract service.
4. Experience in the relevant field shall be calculated after attaining the
minimum essential qualification(s).
5. Mere fulfillment of qualifications and experience requirements does not
entitle candidates to be called for test and/or interview.
6. Management reserves the right to fix a higher percentage of marks/
criteria for short listing the candidates to be called for test and/or
interview.
7. No fee is required to be paid by candidates belonging to ST category.
8. Application should be submitted in the prescribed form only alongwith
duly attested copies of certificate of age, educational qualifications,
experience, ST certificates, mark-sheets etc., and one additional recent
passport size photograph.
9. Candidates working in Government organization/Autonomous
bodies/PSUs should apply through proper channel. However, a copy of
the application may be sent in advance for consideration.
10. Incomplete / unsigned applications will not be entertained and the
application form without the duly attested copies of all relevant
certificates (both experience, educational and professional) will liable to be
rejected.

11. No correspondence for selection will be entertained from the candidates in
respect of the post(s) applied for. Canvassing in any form will be treated
as disqualification. Any candidate found canvassing for his candidature
will be summarily disqualified.
12. The posts advertised are meant for STPI centres at different locations in
the country. Selected candidates may be posted at any centre of STPI.
(Shift duty may be applicable to Technical Posts).
13. The candidates may be offered the appointment in lower post, in case the
Selection Committee recommends.
14. In case any candidate found ineligible on any ground after his/her
appointment, his/her service will be terminated immediately without
assigning any reason thereof.
15. Candidates are warned that they should not furnish any false information
or submit any document which is defective or fabricated or otherwise
commit any act of misconduct in submitting the application form or
during the course of recruitment. In case any such case is detected at any
stage, STPI reserves the right to stop/cancel selection/appointment and
take other legal action against the candidate concerned, as appropriate.
Any litigation will be subject to the jurisdiction of Bangalore courts.
