Part 8A--Licensing of Secure Exports Scheme in <strong>Fiji</strong><br />
Appointment of premises for secure exports scheme<br />
92A.--(1) The Comptroller may, in the approved Form No. C.28.D, issue an annual licence for<br />
any approved premises under the secure exports, subject to payment of the licence fees of $1,755.<br />
(2) A licence issued under subsection (1) expires on 31 December in each year, subject to<br />
subregulation (3).<br />
(3) A licence that has expired but not renewed by 31 December may continue to be in force until 7<br />
January of the following year in order for the application for renewal to be determined, and the<br />
annual fees are paid.<br />

Part 9—Departure and clearance of Aircraft and Ships<br />
Form of clearance of aircraft and ships<br />
93. The certificate of clearance of aircraft and ships departing to a place outside the <strong>Fiji</strong> Islands shall be<br />
in the approved form (C.29).<br />
Shipment short or in excess of manifest<br />
94.—(1) On application being made on the approved form (C.14) and subject to payment of the<br />
prescribed fee, the proper officer may allow the master or agent of an aircraft or ship to amend the cargo<br />
manifest in the appropriate approved form (C.3) or (C.6) in respect of any goods found to have been shipped<br />
short or in excess of the manifest.<br />
(2) A fee of $12.00 shall be payable to the Comptroller in respect of each application per bill of<br />
lading or airway bill, made under sub-regulation (1) of this regulation.<br />

Part 10—Carriage of Goods Coastwise<br />
Transire<br />
95.—(1) The proper officer may, if he or she sees fit, and subject to payment of the prescribed fee,<br />
grant to the master or owner of any ship a general transire, in the approved form (C.40), which shall<br />
empower such ship to make coasting voyages for any period not exceeding 3 months without being<br />
required to enter or clear at a port.<br />
(2) A fee of $25.00 per application shall be payable to the Comptroller in respect of each<br />
application per bill of lading or airway bill, made under sub-regulation (1) of this regulation<br />
(3) The holding of the general transire referred to in sub-regulation (1) shall not relieve such<br />
master or owner from any liability or responsibility placed upon him or her by any law for the time being in<br />
force.<br />
(4) The transire may, for good cause shown, be withdrawn by the proper officer at his or her<br />
discretion.<br />

95A.--(1) The proper officer shall require the owner of any export under bond goods or the<br />
appointed agent, who removes such goods for carriage between ports within <strong>Fiji</strong>-<br />
(a) to submit a transfer manifest in the approved Form No. C.3 (as modified<br />
accordingly); and<br />
(b) to ensure that the conveyance used for transfer of such goods complies with Part 17.<br />
