One of the most sought after speakers in the real estate industry,
Michael Russer, known as Mr. Internet, will be the
key note speaker at our October Company Wide Meeting on
Wednesday, October 10, 8:30am-12noon. He works with
many of the largest real estate firms and state organizations
in the nation training agents to maximize the Internet as a
medium to clients and reduce individual agents’ operating
budgets. On the cutting edge in our industry, he advocates
that “The Internet is about the power of people connecting with people,
not technology.” His talk will specifically geared to RE/MAX DFW
Associates agents and our advanced use of technology and the internet.

A new record was set in June when five of our sales associates
entered the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. Since 1990, 48 RE/MAX DFW
Associates agents have achieved this distinguished honor once they
have closed over $35 million in sales volume during their career with

CECILLIA NEWTON (CA) – she joined our firm just 1 1/2

Linda Phillips—Ten Year Anniversary
Linda Phillips celebrates ten years with our
company this month. She began as the listing
coordinator, and today she is our Company
Assistant Administrator. Originally from
Waterloo, Illinois, she and her husband Dave
and young son Brett moved to Coppell with
Dave’s transfer. Her son Brett is now 23,
married and lives in Atlanta. Her hobbies include
cross-stitching and shopping antique malls and flea markets.
The family is active at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Coppell. It
is hard to imagine the last ten years without Linda Phillips. She
continues to be dedicated and committed to the success of
every agent and the company. What a blessing she has been to
all of us.

Flower Mound was a rural ranching community far away from the
Dallas hubbub just a few short years ago. Today, it is one of the fastest
growing suburbs in the Metroplex with a population of approximately
55,000. The city averages over 1,200 building permits annually for
upscale single family homes, ranging from $175,000 to well over $1
million. Flower Mound’s new FM 2499 that connects to Hwy 121 and I-
635 is the new gateway, with large commercial and industrial office
parks under development along with this exploding corridor. It is
expected that Flower Mound will have a population of 125,000 by 2010,
Serving as the Assistant Administrator in our
Carrollton office. Tonya Lindsey has been with
our company for three and one half years. She
began as the Listing Coordinator in Coppell and
transferred to Carrollton almost two years ago. A
graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington
with a BA in Psychology, Tonya is now pursuing
her masters degree. She is an avid runner and
enjoys softball, fitness and reading. Always with a smile on her
face, Tonya continues to do a wonderful job and has been such
a strength within the staff.
