WHAT IS ONTARIO SMALL BUSINESS NETWORK?
Ontario Small Business Network
(OSBN) is founded by e-presence
Consultants Inc., and was initially
started in July 2010 as a project to
help promote the services of e-
presence Consultants Inc.
It took two years to build the
network and get it out on search
engines, and by then small
business owners were starting to
develop interest in using the free
online tool that had potential to
connect them with other like
minded business owners and allow
them the chance to increase
visibility and promote their
products and services. By end of
2012, there were a little over 500
registered members using the
platform. In January 2013 plans
were in the making to bring a more
human aspect to the small business
community that is now ready to
function actively in the real world.
In June 2013, OSBN called for its
first small business networking,
professionally structured, event.
The small business community was
ready for that announcement and
20 small business owners attended.
Since then, and in a one years
period, 10 events were held and
reputation was built for OSBN
Group events to be professional
and value added for the small
business. June 2014 happens to
be OSBN’s events 1 st anniversary;
one year of building business
connections for OSBN members.
