JACO features incredible unseen footage and photography from the Pastorius family archive plus interviews with Joni Mitchell, Carlos Santana,<br />
Sting and Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and footage with Billy Joel, Stephen Stills, and many more artists.. It is a blistering biopic journey into the<br />
heart and soul of this hugely influential cross-genre artist. Produced by Metallica's Robert Trujillo with Passion Pictures (Searching for Sugar Man).<br />
Jaco Pastorius was raised in oakland Park, FL. The film contains significant footage of Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood as well as Miami area.<br />

THE DIRECTOR: Paul Marchand often fills multiple roles on his films. Recently Paul edited Martin Scorsese's<br />
"The 50 Year Argument" and Chris Rock's "Good Hair" (Sundance Jury Prize). He was also a Director<br />
of Photography on John Marinouin's "Big River Man" (Sundance Best Cinematography). Paul began "JACO"<br />
as editor and took over as director after Stephen Kijak's departure.<br />
