on human skin biopsies. This study demonstrates interesting histology
results on stem cell destruction around the follicle that explains
how some hairs may be affected following such treatments. A
description of the photoepilation process with laser and IPL technologies
will be explained and demystified to better understand their
capabilities and limitations on different hair types or skin phototypes
to reach hair reduction result. With a better understanding of the hair
removal process using photoepilation or electroepilation, professional
estheticians will easily explain to their clients the capabilities of
both technologies and suggest the best treatment possible according
