Sing'n'Joy China 2015 - Choir Festival Shunde – Foshan November 4 - 8, 2015 | Shunde, China Together in Harmony: Sing'n'Joy China 2015 invites singers from all over to celebrate a festival of music and global harmony in the land of the rising sun. Choirs who wish to participate in the festival will have the opportunity to register for an Evaluation Performance with international jury members, for Friendship Concerts and for a huge festival choir project that combines several participating choirs. The special feature of the event: In the Evaluation Performance, choirs can obtain valuable guidance for their participation in the 9th World Choir Games, to be held in 2016 in Sochi / Russia. Shunde is a district in the city of Foshan in the Pearl River Delta, Guangdong Province, China with a population of roughly one million residents. Once a traditional agricultural county, it has become one of the most affluent counties in Guangdong and mainland China. In 2013 it has been announced the top 1 district in China. Travelling from Shunde is convenient via many different options and to attractive destinations. Jazz Style Singing & Rhythm<br />

In this workshop we will work on a variety of Rhythms<br />
and Style elements used in Vocal Pop & Jazz.<br />
We will also discuss and work on the many different vocal<br />
techniques used in Pop & Jazz.<br />
It will be a highly interactive workshop that needs no<br />
preparation from the side of the participants and is open<br />
for any type of singer.<br />
Participants will get a handout with Tips for singing, rehearsing<br />
and performing in Vocal Pop and Jazz Choir and<br />
Ensemble style.<br />

The seminar will draw upon Paul's vast experience of over<br />
2000 concerts and 17 years as a tenor in the worldrenowned<br />
Grammy-winning The King's Singers, and will<br />
cover a range of subjects with additional focus upon<br />
presentation, language skills, and of course the joy of<br />
communication through singing.<br />
In his seminar Paul Phoenix will not only focus on ensemble<br />
coaching, rehearsal techniques, presentation and performance<br />
but will also give specific, targeted assistance<br />
on preparation for choral competitions and Festivals.
