The City of Locust Grove and Locust Grove Better Hometown will sponsor their annual “Christmas . . . in the
Grove,” on December 3, in Downtown Locust Grove. The free event features a parade, entertainment, food, train
rides, a rock-climbing wall, crafts, and the arrival of Santa via the Locust Grove fire truck. The festivities are from
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Christmas parade begins at 10:00 a.m. Downtown merchants will hold an “open house”
for Christmas gift shopping.
The 3rd Annual Gingerbread House Contest in Hampton is scheduled for Saturday. Deliver your house Thursday or
Friday for judging. All ages welcome. Pre-built houses or build your own houses are allowed. Each house will receive a

Henry County will usher in the holidays with the 7th Annual Heritage Christmas Festival to be held on Saturday, December
12, 2015, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.., at Heritage Park in McDonough. The park will be transformed into a festive,
holiday wonderland. Radio Disney will be playing the latest tunes from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Heritage Park is located at
